Since 2009, the National Board for Certification in Dental Laboratory Technology (NBC) has selected a CDT of the Year as a way to recognize and honor the individuals who stand out in the industry. This year, the NBC is thrilled to present the 2022 CDT of the Year award to Nicole Jackson, CDT, TE.

Nicole Jackson, CDT, TE, is the Lead Faculty and Program Chair of the Dental Technician Program at Milwaukee Area Technical College (MATC) in Milwaukee, WI. Jackson has been in the industry for over 18 years, starting at Garner Dental Arts in Waukesha, WI. In 2009, she earned her Certified Dental Technician (CDT) certification in Ceramics.

In addition to her work that keeps her busy, Jackson is very involved in the industry and attending dozens of in-person and virtual continuing education programs each year. She also likes to give back, racing in the Foundation’s Race for the Future 7.0 in 2021, and looking to volunteer with the 2022 Mission of Mercy held in Wisconsin.

Jackson has a passion for the dental technology industry and remains committed to attaining the highest standards of professional excellence within the dental technology community through leadership, learning, advancement, demonstration, and educational delivery.
